Below you’ll find answers to the questions KudosWall customers ask most often. If your question isn’t covered here, you can contact support directly from the dashboard.
Create a collection page in Dashboard → Collection → New Collection, then copy the public link from the Share tab. Send that link directly to a customer — by email, Slack, or any other channel. When they submit, the testimonial appears in your dashboard for review.
Widgets only display approved testimonials. Go to Dashboard → Testimonials, find any testimonials in the “Pending” state, and click Approve. Once at least one testimonial is approved, your widget will show it. Also check whether your widget has tag or rating filters set — if no approved testimonials match those filters, the widget will appear empty.
You cannot edit the testimonial text itself after a customer submits it. You can, however, approve, reject, add tags, and pin testimonials from the dashboard. These actions let you curate what appears in your widgets without modifying what the customer actually wrote.
You can create multiple widgets inside your workspace. Each widget gets its own embed code and its own independent set of settings — layout, filters, branding, and so on. There is no fixed cap on the number of widgets you can create.
Yes. All approved testimonials in your workspace are available to every widget you create. Use the filterTags, pinnedIds, and excludedIds settings on each widget to customize exactly which testimonials it shows. This lets you, for example, have one widget showing only your highest-rated testimonials and another showing testimonials tagged “enterprise”.
Your testimonials are never deleted when you downgrade. However, the Free plan allows a maximum of 5 approved testimonials. If you already have more than 5 when you downgrade, your existing testimonials remain intact, but new submissions will not be approved until your total drops below the limit — or until you upgrade again.
No. The widget is a single <script> tag that you paste into your website’s HTML. Most website builders — including Webflow, Shopify, Wix, and Squarespace — have a place to add custom HTML or scripts, so no developer is needed. If you’re comfortable copying and pasting a line of code, you can install it yourself.
Yes. Both the Pro (29/mo)andAgency(29/mo) and **Agency** (79/mo) subscriptions include a 7-day free trial. Your card is not charged during the trial period. You can cancel at any time before the trial ends and you won’t be billed.
The Lifetime plan is a one-time payment of $199 that gives you permanent access to all Agency-level features — unlimited testimonials, up to 5 projects, up to 3 team members, custom domains, white-label branding, and priority support — with no recurring fees.
Go to Dashboard → Settings → Billing → Manage Billing. This opens the Stripe billing portal where you can cancel your subscription, update your payment method, or download past invoices. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
